Sarawak is calling YOU! The Sarawak Adventure Challenge 2017 is a one-day multi-sport adventure race showcasing some of the best rainforests, rivers and caves of Western Borneo.

Themed "The Lost Mines", this year's edition combines the excitement and demands of XC MTB, trail running and caving. This exhilarating 55 km route, in the vicinity of Kuching, has the perfect brew of Sarawak's spectacular nature, scenic tribal villages and mysterious 'lost mines'.

14 Sep 2017 - Identifying Potential Tourism Products For Promotion

Kuching, Friday – Sarawak Tourism Product Management team had organised six Sarawak Product Experience (SPE) trips throughout the State to identify and study potential tourism products in order to compile and share the information on  potentials for  promotion in its focus markets.

The  programme  organised by  Visitor’s Information Centres (VIC) in Miri, Kuching and Sibu aim to advise and help  product owners in positioning their products. It is also target customers effectively and to enhance visitors’ experience for a good value to their visits while in Sarawak.

21 Aug 2017 - Study Visit By Danang Department Of Tourism To Kuching

KUCHING, Saturday – Three officials from Danang Department of Tourism, Vietnam led by Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Deputy Director of Danang Department of Tourism were in Kuching from August 15 – 19, 2017. Accompanying the Deputy Director are Phan Minh Hai, Deputy Manager of Planning & Development Division and Nguyen Duc Vu, Deputy Director of Son Tra Peninsula Management Board.

The visit is to study the ecotourism, the management of our national parks in Sarawak and the conservation in the region. Danang Tourism is planning to set-up something similar to Bako National Park.
