Amazing bat exodus from Deer Cave, Mulu National Park
2-3 million bats stream out of Deer Cave most evenings to hunt for insects. This video happened to capture the longest stream that evening, a 2-min unbroken stretch from the bat observatory. A sight to behold indeed!
Deer Cave is the largest cave passage known to man and it is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Gunung Mulu National Park, Miri Division.
