The fourth edition of the Kuching Heritage Race is on the way! The date is set tentatively on Saturday February 16th, 2019 – Save your date!
The 2018 Heritage Race took off on January 27 and brought together 300 eager participants, with the theme, “Culture meets nature,” which brought participants on a route that centered mainly round the Reservoir and Museum Parks.
The race aims to continue to introduce residents and visitors alike to our vibrant heritage by providing a novel means to appreciate what we have and to better understand why we need to manage it for future generations.
More than just a fun event, the proceeds from the Kuching Heritage Race were donated to two deserving local charities. House of Joyand the Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti, Petra Jaya each received a cheque for RM20,000 to assist in their work with disabled and disadvantaged persons in their communities. In keeping with the charitable nature of the event, Team Bicycle donated their 3rd place prize money back to charity.

Note: This race’s is about the fastest, but the this is not the main objective. It is a family/friends/team building race where whoever completes the challenges, answers the questions correctly, gets all the stamps and finishes within the three hours is a true winner.
